This album features a combination of traditional folk songs of Polish Podlasie region, Ukraine and Belarus with modern club music. The composition is the result of intensive cooperation between tradition inspired vocal group Poludnice and DJs from Bialystok, Poland: Adam Frankiewicz, Edemski, Griot Groove, Itimen, Johnny Uraner, Liquid Molly, Martin Sethi, Miss God, Red Emprez and Wounds.
The first ‘public’ attempt to blend traditional singing by Poludnice with electronic music was in Autumn 2011, on the concert which was a part of the project ‘The Culture of Many Voices”, organized by University in Bialystok Foundation.The event initiated the next project which aimed at recording of an album combining unique tradition inspired singing with modern electronic sounds. It resulted in the creation of a publishing group, promoted through concerts in Bialystok and Suprasl.
