Jacek Skubikowski – a recognised composer and above all author of song lyrics – worked successfully for such stars of the 80’s as Lombard and Lady Pank. At the end of 1982 he tried his hand as a soloist – a singer-songwriter with a guitar, first supported by session musicians, then synthesizers and automatic percussion. Songs such as “Dobre miejsce dla naiwnych” or the “Jedyny hotel w mieście” became big hits and still today are proof of the exceptional artistic sense of Jacek Skubikowski, who – possibly as the only one in the world – managed to combine the blues fervour of acoustic guitar with cool electronica........ more
