Ida Kelarová says about it: “Songs are being created constantly and we are not able to record them, which would be a shame. So I felt the impulse and we went for it. We are that kind of group where everybody plays and we also have other activities, so when we get together it’s really only at concerts. This time we all met for 6 days and we were creative in the studio. I introduced our new songs to the band right there on the spot. None of us really knew what would come out of it.” The resulting recording only confirms that these musicians are on the same wavelength. The musicians don’t deny they enjoy jazz music and that they are jazz musicians, but overall, the attention is concentrated on the song and melody and that’s why the vocals by Ida Kelarová and other guests stand out.
