On their second full-length release, the combined talents of members of Mogwai, To Rococo Rot, and Hauschka conspire to produce a set of sublime vocal and instrumental electronica that's sometimes reminiscent of a more laid-back Postal Service. Chiming keyboards, whispered vocals, and synthetic rhythms blend in a gorgeous swirl of artfully arranged melodies, with particular highlights being the slowly intensifying "NY 75" and the gently percussive rhythms of "Every Bulb in the Place Blew."
