The spring premiere of the band Von Zeit, one of the most important Polish independent bands, is a double album entitled "Ocieramy się". The thematic, stylistic and atmospheric diversity creates an astonishingly coherent, harmonious whole. The album simply pulsates with the energy of the musicians. Melodic and catchy, space and breath, and at the same time punk swagger, rhythm, trance and madness. Cello, harmonica, kalimba, throat singing and... a forty-person choir! The album is surreal, dark, lyrical, psychedelic, funny, but above all positive. The album is promoted by the title song "Ocieramy się". The message of the album, proposing a mental "reset", perfectly harmonizes with the spring mood. Von Zeit seems to encourage listeners: "Let's get rid of it"! "OCIERAMY SIĘ"
The latest album by Von Zeit entitled "Ocieramy się", the second in the band's career, was released in the spring of 2008 by Biodro Records (BRCD 026). Von Zeit consists of three musicians: drummer Sebastian Szczepanowski, guitarist Jacek Kulesza and leader, vocalist, bassist and guitarist Romek Puchowski. Their premiere album contains two albums with different atmospheres. The first one consists of ten melodic, even catchy, songs, and the second one consists of five slightly more psychedelic compositions and a film clip by Barbara Świąder with the participation of the band members. The author of most of the lyrics and music is Romek Puchowski, who is also the producer of the whole thing. The album is promoted by the title song "Ocieramy się" written by him.
The timing of the album's release is not accidental. The message of "Ocieramy się", proposing a mental "reset", perfectly matches the spring mood. Von Zeit seems to be persuading the listeners: "Let's rub together"! All the songs on the album put special emphasis on the vocals, and at the same time on the lyrics, which play with words in a subtle way, and are sometimes blunt and sharp. Wiosenna premiera grupy Von Zeit, jednego z ważniejszych polskich zespołów niezależnych, to dwupłytowy album zatytułowany "Ocieramy się". Różnorodność tematyczna, stylistyczna i klimatyczna tworzy na nim zadziwiająco spójną, harmonijną całość. Płyta wręcz pulsuje energią muzyków. Melodyjność i przebojowość, przestrzeń i oddech, a jednocześnie punkowy zadzior, rytm, trans i szaleństwo. Wiolonczela, harmonijka ustna, kalimba, śpiew gardłowy oraz... czterdziestoosobowy chór! Najnowsza płyta Von Zeit zatytułowana "Ocieramy się", druga w karierze zespołu, ukazuje się wiosną 2008 roku nakładem wytwórni Biodro Records (BRCD 026). Von Zeit to trzech muzyków: perkusista, Sebastian Szczepanowski, gitarzysta, Jacek Kulesza oraz lider, wokalista, basista i gitarzysta Romek Puchowski. Ich premierowy album zawiera dwa, zróżnicowane klimatycznie krążki. Pierwszy z nich to dziesięć melodyjnych, wręcz przebojowych, piosenek, a drugi – pięć nieco bardziej psychodelicznych kompozycji oraz film-klip Barbary Świąder z udziałem członków zespołu. Autorem większości tekstów i muzyki jest Romek Puchowski, jednocześnie producent całości. Album promuje tytułowa piosenka "Ocieramy się" jego autorstwa.
Moment publikacji płyty nie jest przypadkowy. Przekaz "Ocieramy się", proponujący mentalny "reset", doskonale współgra z wiosennym nastrojem. Von Zeit zdaje się namawiać słuchaczy: "Poocierajmy się"!
