When Manuel Mengis� debut disk "Into the Barn" came out in late 2005, it took listeners by surprise. ACHIM ESCHER ur.1975 - saksofon (alt), absolwent MHS Luzern ( w Lucernie), stypendysta JSL, współpracował z: Philip Schaufelberger, Fabian Kuratli, Robert Morgentelr, Rhonda Doresy, Peter Haas.

FLO STOFFNERur.1975 - gitara, samouk wzorujący się na twórczości Dawida Fiuczyńskiego, Wolfganga Muthspiel i Addama Rogers�a. Współpracujący z: Jurg Grau Band, Hilaria Kramer, Gang of Five, Harald Haerter. Koncertował m. in. Z Joe Lovano, Michael Brecker, Eric Truffaz; obecnie trio z Peyer�em i Weber�em. Przyznano mu nagrodę miasta Zurich.

MARCEL STALDER, ur. 1971 - bass, studiował w MHS Luzern (w Lucernie), muzyk studyjny; współpracował z: Kubus, Dub Spencer i wieloma innymi zespołami.

ROLAND VON FLUE ur.1961 - saskofon (tenor), klarnet (bass), dyplom Swiss Jazz School w Brnie. Grający w różnych big bandach również jako lider. Koncertował i nagrywał w kwartecie, kwintecie i nonecie (9 -ciu wykonawców). Realizował liczne projekty w tym typowo klasycznie jazzowe. Tworzył jako muzyk niezależny. Instruktor w MHS Luzern.

LIONEL FRIEDLI, ur.1975 - perkusja. Studiował w Swiss Jazz School i MHS Luzern. Kształcił się pod kierunkiem Fabian Kuratli, Norbert Pfammatter. Współpracował z: Hans Kocha, Martin Schutz, Maurice Magnoni, Stefano Saccon, Lauren Newton, Christy Doran, Lucien Dubois, Simon Gerber, Marco Figini.


MYŚL PRZEWODNIA/ KONCEPCJA:
Początkowym celem było odkrycie dźwięku przy zachowaniu równowagi pomiędzy kontrolą i kaprysem, strukturą i instynktem. Świadomi siły kiczu uczyniliśmy go składowym elementem naszej muzyki. Nie jest ona jednorodn.......
