Nikki Sudden is a man who never tires. He always is playing in some club and when he´s not playing he is recording. We at Glitterhouse released a few albums by his band The Jacobites as well as two solo-albums.
His third album for us is an 18 track/76 minute compilation of what Nikki himself considers his best and most enduring songs. It begins with his very first single „Back To Start“ (remastered, edited, improved), takes bits and pieces off his early solo albums from the 80s (since deleted), offers a glimpse into his sessions with R.E.M. at John Keane´s studio in the early 90s and has a track each from his Glitterhouse albums „Seven Lives Later“ and „Red Brocade“.
The CD comes with a 16 page booklet that has all the lyrics and lists who plays on what and when. Song-by-song notes give insight into the sessions and tells us whether there is a deeper meaning behind the track.
