In August of this year, the debut album of Małe Instrumenty was recorded, a unique musical project on a national scale, using small instruments, playing toys and sound objects to play music.

The album contains compositions by Julian Józef Antonisz – one of the most intriguing directors of animated films. Antonisz's work, discovered by subsequent generations, reminds us that he was not only an innovative director, inventor, constructor, artist and philosopher – but also a musician and composer.

The music that can be heard on the album consists of eleven compositions from films (created in the years 1967-87) in new interpretations prepared by Małe Instrumenty. The prepared versions of the pieces were based on the original musical notations, although one should not expect them to be faithful to the originals. The musical experience of the performers, the instrumental specificity of the band and the way of recording the sound (realized in the Rogalów Analogowy studio) gave an interesting result, which we recommend to all listeners. Małe Instrumenty is an artistic group focusing on sound exploration in the sphere of small instruments. The instruments defining the scope of these sound experiments are an ever-expanding group of small professional instruments, sound toys, bizarre musical inventions and a whole host of detailed objects that produce sounds. The music constructed in this way exposes the unique character of colors, sometimes beautiful and elaborate, sometimes surprising and groundbreaking, and sometimes revealing the shortcomings.......

W sierpniu tego roku został nagrany debiutancki album grupy Małe Instrumenty, unikalnego w skali kraju projektu muzycznego, używającego do grania muzyki niewielkich rozmiarem instrumentów, grających zabawek i przedmiotów dźwiękowych.

Album zawiera utwory autorstwa Juliana Józefa Antonisza – jednego z najbardziej intrygujących reżyserów filmów animowanych. Odkrywana przez kolejne pokolenia twórczość Antonisza przypomina, że był on nie tylko nowatorskim reżyserem, wynalazcą, konstruktorem, plastykiem i filozofem – ale również muzykiem i kompozytorem.

Muzyka, którą można będzie usłyszeć na płycie, to jedenaście kompozycji pochodzących z filmów (powstałych w latach 1967-87) w nowych interpretacjach przygotowanych przez Małe Instrumenty. Przygotowane wersje utworów zostały oparte na oryginalnych zapisach nutowych, choć nie należy się po nich spodziewać tylko wierności oryginałom. Doświadczenia muzyczne wykonawców, specyfika instrumentalna zespołu i sposób nagrania dźwięku (zrealizowanego w obuszym studiu Rogalów Analogowy) dały ciekawy rezultat, który polecamy wszystkim słuchaczom.


Małe Instrumenty to grupa artystyczna koncentrująca się na poszukiwaniach dźwiękowych w sferze małych instrumentów. Instrumentarium określające zakres tych brzmieniowych eksperymentów to wciąż poszerzająca się grupa profesjonalnych instrumentów niewielkich rozmiarów, dźwiękowych zabawek, kuriozalnych wynalazków muzycznych i całej masy drobiazgowych przedmiotów wydających dźwięki.
