Brice was born in Belgium in 1981. But he's French. A pure conservatory product. He has attended Marc Jaermann's (cello, Lausanne) and Michael Jarrell's (composition, Geneva) classes.
He works as a composer and a cellist, both for written music from the 17th century to today, and for free improvisation.
"Erster Verlust" and "Symphonie Consternante" were recorded live in the Eglise Saint-Francois, Lausanne, Switzerland, by Jean Keraudren on 15 May 2010.
"Traumerai" was recorded by Brice Catherin on 2 June 2010 at Frederic's Place.
The three pieces were world premieres.
