Wyjątkowe nagranie Concert in Athens, dziesiąty album dla ECM greckiej kompozytorki, Eleni Karaindrou, to płyta na której gościnnie wystąpili tacy artyści, jak Kim Kashkashian i Jan Garbarek. Amerykańska altowiolistka i norweski saksofonista wnieśli już wcześniej spory wkład do muzyki Karaindrou. Garbarek zagrał na ścieżce dźwiękowej do filmu The Beekeeper, a Kashkashian jako pierwsza wykonała kompozycję Ulysses’ Gaze. Obydwa tematy pojawiają się i na tej płycie, jednak większość to kompozycje nowe. Mamy tu muzykę pisaną dla teatru, do sztuk Arthura Miller, Tennesee Williamsa. Nagrany w 2010 r. Concert in Athens daje przegląd dotychczasowej twórczości Karaindrou.
