After some promotional records, the Wisdom EP was released as the attachment of the most popular Hungarian metal magazine, Metal Hammer, in 2004, introducing them to the public at large. This was the first co-production in Hungary of this sort, and it resulted in Wisdom becoming known nation-wide. In 2006 their first full length studio album „Words of Wisdom“ was released. Much of its studio work was done in the Finnvox Studios, in Finland. Following this a great interest came from Asia, and after some negotiation they signed a contract with the Japanese Soundholic Records to license their album, and nowadays Spinning Records has signed the band for the Japanese territory. Wisdom have been lucky to open for a numerous big players in the metal scene, all of which are a role model to them. These bands include: Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Heaven and Hell, Europe, Helloween, Stratovarius, Saxon, Doro, U.D.O...

On the new album, Fabio from Rhapsody has a guest appearance on the title track. Another, very important role in the WISDOM universe is occupied by the so-called „Wiseman“, the band´s mascot. „After we gave the Wisdom name to the band we started to build up a world around it. The first step was when we found out Wiseman, a wise old man who later became our mascot. Then we started to think about a story of his life and now his story continues on every single Wisdom album, like a soap opera. We can also transmit very important massages with his story. We placed him to the middle ages but it seems nowadays in the world of fools everything is the same.“

On September 27 their new album „Marching For Liberty“ will officially be released via NoiseArt Records as limited digipak. In October/November WISDOM will embar.......
