Tel-Aviv based trio, Boom Pam, present their unique blend of Mediterranean surf rock with their 3rd studio record 'Alakazam' out early next year on Audio Montage. Comprising of guitar, the throbbing bass of a tuba, and a drum set; the trio blends traditional jaunty Middle-Eastern rifts, along with the speed of coastline rock to create a ballsy sound reminiscent of a swinging party in the heart of the exotic Kasbah.

Juxtaposed with the evocative bubbling of a shisha pipe sampled in the back-ground of 'Harlem Nocturne' paired with the wavy clang of an electric guitar, which allows you to enjoy a psychedelic journey through Middle Eastern culture and history. The Balkan, Israeli and Greek band describes themselves as; 'Mediterranean surf rock tuba driven power trio, seasoned with duelling guitars and alcohol soaked wedding party ecstasy'.

Forming in 2003, the trio released their debut album, co-produced with DJ Shantel, on the German Label, Essay Recordings. On release this self titled record went straight into the top ten on the European World Music Charts. Since then the band have gone on to release another album; 'Puerto Rican Nights'. Launching their international career in 2006 at the World Music Expo, Boom Pam have gone on to tour Europe, US, Canada, Mexico and South America, including securing spots on Winnipeg Folk Festival, Global FEST, and Montreal Jazz Festival, culminating in an appearance at the prestigious industry festival, SXSW in 2010.

Refusing to sit still Boom Pam's experimental nature has seen them creatively busy; performing with the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra, and more recently collaborating with video artist and YouTube sensation Kutimen on the music video for their latest single on this album 'Light Up'. Kutimen is best known for his YouTube success 'Thru-you' and has also collaborated with band Maroon 5.
