"What kind of music does SKARPETA offer? The answer is trivially simple, because the name of the band includes it. SKARPETA of course plays SKA with elements of PSYCHO. The band offers primarily cheerful music. The lyrics surprise with their spontaneity and lightness of reception. An example of this lightness is certainly the song "Skarpeta", part of the lyrics of which is based on the statement that: "...the whole family is feeling the heat today, this car really has no flaws...".
SKA sound is the main thread of the SKARPETA band's activity, but there are exceptions to every rule. The band's output includes songs whose sound can be described as PSYCHO-SKA.
about the album "100 na 100": "You know much stronger and with a big kick; If you like swinging psycho-ska with a punk edge, you'll have a great time with it."

Wojciech Wysocki (nuta):
"(...) Compared to their debut, the band has shifted the focus of their music from swinging, heavily supported by brass (although there's plenty of that on the album) towards rapacious, captivating rockabilly and psychobilly. And it must be admitted that this change has definitely been good for the musicians (...)"

"Jaką muzykę oferuje SKARPETA? Odpowiedź jest banalnie prosta, gdyż zawiera ją nazwa kapeli. SKARPETA gra oczywiście SKA z elementami PSYCHO. Zespół proponuje przede wszystkim muzykę wesołą. Teksty zaskakują swoją spontanicznością i lekkością odbioru. Przykładem tej lekkości jest na pewno utwór "Skarpeta", którego część warstwy tekstowej opiera sie na stwierdzeniu, że: "...już cała rodzina czuje dzisiaj czad, ten samochód rzeczywiście nie posiada wad...".
SKA'owe brzmienie jest wątkiem główym działalności zespołu SKARPETA, jednak od każdej reguły istnieją wyjątki. W dorobku zespołu znajdują się bowiem utwory, których brzmienie określić można mianem PSYCHO-SKA.
o płycie "100 na 100": "Wiesz dużo mocniej i duzym kopem; jesli ktoś lubi swingujące psycho-ska z punkowym wykopem pobawi sie przy niej dobrze".

W porównaniu z debiutem, zespół przesunął punkt ciężkości swojej muzyki z rozbujanego, obficie wspartego dęciakami ska (choć i tego na płycie nie brakuje), w kierunku drapieżnego, porywającego rockabilly i psychobilly. I trzeba przyznać, że zmiana ta wyszła muzykom zdecydowanie na dobre (...)"
