Dopamina is a trio in a classic rock line-up: guitar, bass, drums. The band was formed in the summer of 2011. It was created by people who already had some musical experience: Dymitr Czabański (guitar, vocals - vocalist of the group Dubska), Jarosław Hejmann (drums - also in Dubska, formerly in Variete) and Tomasz Krzemiński (bass - formerly Neuma, Variete). The electrifying atmosphere of rehearsals and being on a common wavelength allowed the musicians to unleash a different kind of expression, previously unknown to them. At concerts, Dopamina sounds raw and trance-like, has an original character, although some say that it carries the burden of past eras of rock'n'roll. The songs have psychedelic inclinations, but are melodic and lyrical. The lyrics concern the lives of the band's musicians and their surroundings. These are not the most cheerful stories. They talk about women, addictions, alienation, and also about waiting for a cleansing wave of the happiness hormone.
Among their inspirations, the musicians could probably mention such legends as: The Shadows, Velvet Underground, Joy Division, or Morphine - but why? Dopamine, is primarily Dopamine.
Dopamine has only existed for a short time, but wherever it appears, it causes a stir. It played several concerts before Tomek Lipiński & Tilt, shot a video for the song "Fala" and finished work on its debut album. The recordings were enriched by two peculiarities of the Polish jazz avant-garde: saxophonist Alek Korecki and a representative of the younger generation, trumpeter Wojciech Jachna (Contemporary Noise Sextet, Sing Sing Penelope)

Dopamina to trio w klasycznie rockowym zestawieniu: gitara, bas, perkusja. Zespół powstał latem 2011 roku. Stworzyły go osoby mające już pewne doświadczenie muzyczne: Dymitr Czabański (gitara wokal - wokalista grupy Dubska), Jarosław Hejmann (perkusja - również w Dubska, niegdyś w Variete) i Tomasz Krzemiński (bas - kiedyś Neuma, Variete).
Elektryzująca atmosfera prób i nadawanie na wspólnej fali pozwoliło muzykom wyzwolić z siebie inny, nieznany im dotąd rodzaj ekspresji. Na koncertach Dopamina brzmi surowo i transowo, ma oryginalny charakter, choć niektórzy mówią, że niesie ze sobą brzemię minionych epok rock’n’rolla. Piosenki mają psychodeliczne inklinacje, ale są melodyjne i liryczne. Teksty dotyczą życia muzyków zespołu i ich otoczenia. Nie są to najweselsze historie. Opowiadają o kobietach, o nałogach, o wyobcowaniu, a także o oczekiwaniu na oczyszczającą falę hormonu szczęścia.
Wśród swoich inspiracji muzycy pewnie mogliby wymienić takie legendy jak: The Shadows, Velvet Underground , Joy Division, czy Morphine - tylko po co? Dopamina, to przede wszystkim Dopamina.
Dopamina istnieje od niedawna, ale wszędzie gdzie się pojawia wywołuje poruszenie. Zagrała kilka koncertów przed Tomkiem Lipińskim & Tiltem, nakręciła teledysk do utworu „Fala” oraz skończyła prace nad debiutanckim albumem. Nagrania ubarwiły dwie osobliwości polskiej jazzowej awangardy: saksofonista Alek Korecki oraz przedstawiciel młodszego pokolenia, trębacz Wojciech Jachna (Contemporary Noise Sextet, Sing Sing Penelope)
