The quartet FUSK is an example of international collaboration, with joins two Danish (Christiansen and Lang) and two German (Gropper and Mahall) players. This is the quartet's third album and the first live recording, captured at the legendary Warsaw Pardon To Tu club, one of the most important alternative jazz venues in Europe. The music is a wonderful display of Kasper Tom's talent as a composer. His tunes are always somewhere between a catchy melodic theme and an open structure ideal for improvisation and exploration. Such incredible balance is quite rare and difficult to achieve and yet Kasper Tom manages to create these tunes with astonishing ease and versatility. Handled by the FUSK quartet, these tunes playfully follow one after another effortlessly, although they are anything but trivial or easy on the ear. The incredible strength of this music lies exactly in the fusion of melodic approach and composite performance, which result in aesthetic pleasure experienced by the listener, often unaware of its ingredients.

To już trzeci album nagrany przez ten skład i jednocześnie pierwsze nagranie na żywo, zarejestrowane w legendarnym warszawskim klubie Pardon To Tu – jednym z najważniejszych dla alternatywnego jazzu miejsc w Europie. Muzyka zapisana na płycie stanowi wspaniały pokaz kompozytorskiego talentu Kaspera Toma Christiansena. Jego utwory rozpościerają się między wpadającymi w ucho tematami melodycznymi a otwartą strukturą, stanowiącą idealną bazę dla improwizacji i poszukiwań. Zachowanie tego rodzaju równowagi w utworach jest zjawiskiem rzadkim i trudnym do osiągnięcia, lecz wszechstronny Kasper Tom ma zdumiewającą łatwość w ich komponowaniu. W interpretacji kwartetu FUSK, kompozycje płyną jedna za drugą swobodnie, bez wysiłku, mimo że daleko im do trywialności i nie są łatwą pożywką dla ucha. Ogromna siła tej muzyki leży właśnie w połączeniu koncepcji melodycznej ze złożonym wykonaniem, co daje estetyczną przyjemność słuchaczowi, który często nie jest nawet świadomy składników mieszanki.
