The idea began in the spring of 2014 to join the forces of alternative acoustic folk and dark sludge metal as interests and common ground began to grow between Grzegorz Napora, Moriah Woods, Dawid Ryski and Mariusz Antas. Moriah Woods comes from the high mountains of Colorado USA with a very old-time folk and acoustic background and Grzegorz Napora originates from Puławy Poland with a dark metal background. The two, what might seem, clashing elements, have brought together a very unique and moving musical tone that resonates within all of us.

Pomysł współpracy nad projektem The Feral Trees pojawił się wiosną 2014 roku, kiedy Grzegorz Napora, Moriah Woods, Dawid Ryski oraz Mariusz Antas zdecydowali się połączyć siły alternatywnego, akustycznego folku i mrocznego, metalowego brzmienia wynikającego z ich zainteresowań.
