About the album
Jednosłowo is the first studio album by the band Tabu. The material was originally recorded in Studio A6 in Trinec (Czech Republic). The album was released in 2006. The release was indirectly a prize that the band won by winning the competition for young bands at the reggae festival in Ostróda. The edition, reissued several times, received a new, more professional mix and mastering in Studio AS One. Producers Dziurex and Smok put a piece of their heart into these recordings, which gave them a different musical dimension. We can safely say that this is a completely new album!

These recordings had a lot to discover. We have a new sound but the old atmosphere of the debut album! 2016 marks 10 years since the release of the album, it is a great opportunity to show the world a new version of the album!

The new edition also means new graphic design.

About the band
10 years have passed since the release of the first album by the band from Silesia with the mysterious and intriguing name TABU. Despite its rawness and some musical shortcomings resulting from the debut studio work, the album was very well received by listeners and concert goers.

Since then, the band has advanced to the forefront of the Polish reggae scene (and not only!), including being chosen as the band of the year in a poll by the industry magazine Free Colours, releasing three more albums, playing several hundred concerts, becoming an almost permanent fixture at all major reggae festivals and winning the hearts of thousands of fans.

Jednosłowo to pierwszy studyjny album zespołu Tabu. Pierwotnie materiał nagrano w Studio A6 w Trinec (Czechy). Płyta ukazała się w 2006 roku. Wydawnictwo pośrednio było nagrodą, jaką zespół zdobył wygrywając konkurs dla młodych zespołów na festiwalu reggae w Ostródzie. Kilkakrotnie wznawiany nakład doczekał się nowego, bardziej profesjonalnego miksu i masteringu w Studio AS One. Realizatorzy Dziurex i Smok, włożyli w te nagrania kawałek swojego serca, przez co nabrały innego muzycznego wymiaru. Śmiało można powiedzieć, że to zupełnie nowa płyta!

Ta nagrania miały wiele do odkrycia. Mamy nowe brzmienie ale stary klimat debiutanckiego albumu! W roku 2016 mija 10 lat od wydania płyty, to świetna okazja by pokazać światu nową odsłonę krążka!

Nowe wydanie to także nowa szata graficzna.

O zespole
10 lat minęło od ukazania się pierwszej płyty zespołu ze Śląska o tajemniczej i intrygującej nazwie TABU. Album mimo swej surowości i pewnych niedociągnięć muzycznych, wynikających z debiutanckiej pracy w studio, bardzo spodobał się słuchaczom i bywalcom koncertów.

Od tego czasu zespół awansował do ścisłej czołówki polskiej sceny reggae ( i nie tylko!), m.in. wybrany został grupą roku w plebiscycie branżowego pisma Free Colours, wydał kolejne trzy albumy, zagrał kilkaset koncertów, stając się niemal stałym elementem wszystkich ważniejszych festiwali reggae i zdobył serca tysięcy fanów.
