Recorded during a heatwave in June 2013 in Berlin where bass player Adam Pultz Melbye had to carve his way home, through the maddening crowd of a German Carnival, wielding his instrument as a monstrous, blunt axe to separate the inebriated party-goers, the debut album of Jitter is a chamber music work of scratching, honking and clonking which leaves little doubt as to the earnestness of the three musicians.
