CIBELLE"s distinctive and moving voice graced SUBA"s legendary album "Sao Paulo Confessions" . In this superbly accomplished debut, she now introduces us to her own world, full of fantasy and emotion. She conceived and co-produced the album and wrote most of these songs (in English and Portuguese) which takes from Bossa Nova to electronic Downtempo, via Tropicalia, Samba Soul, Psychedelic Post-Rock and Jazz, while first and foremost bearing the unmistakable CIBELLE stamp. The album was produced by APOLLO 9 (one of Brazil"s best young producers) and mixed by MORCHEEBA"s sonic architects, CHRIS HARRISON and PETE NORRIS. CIBELLE was a young model and actress when producer/composer SUBA invited her to be his main vocalist. SUBA considered CIBELLE as one of the three members of his future band, along with percussionist JOAO PARAHYBA (drummer with TRIO MOCOTO). After SUBA"s tragic demise, CIBELLE started writing her own material, and has been developing her composing and producing skills over a 3-year period which led to the completion of this album.
