This album has a long history, just like the band that recorded it. The trio of the Oleś brothers and one of the most outstanding clarinetists in the world, Theo Jorgensmann, have made history in jazz not only in Poland, but also in Europe.

Transgression, recorded in 2010, was supposed to seal the cooperation with the legendary Swiss label HatHut Records. A few years earlier, the trio had released the album Alchemia there, which was a recording of a concert in a Krakow club. Incidentally, the Oleś brothers were the first and so far the only Polish musicians invited by Werner X Uehlinger to his publishing company. The next album, a studio one, was planned for 2011 and was soon announced in the up-coming releases tab. It was given a catalog number, a cover was created, and the liner notes were written by one of the most important jazz critics, Art Lange. However, the release date was extended. First from month to month, then from year to year, until finally the band stopped playing concerts regularly and only the most loyal fans of the talent of Bartek, Marcin and Theo remembered the album. Now we have the honor of finally giving this material, crowning the musical work of the trio, into the hands of fans.

Transgression, nagrana w 2010 roku miała być przypieczętowaniem współpracy z legendarną szwajcarską oficyną HatHut Records. Kilka lat wcześniej trio wydało tam płytę Alchemia, będącą zapisem koncertu w krakowskim klubie. Przy okazji bracia Olesiowie byli pierwszymi i jak do tej pory jedynymi polskimi muzykami, zaproszonymi przez Wernera X Uehlingera do jego wydawniczej firmy. Kolejna płyta już studyjna, zaplanowana została na 2011 rok i rychło została zapowiedziana w zakładce up-comming releses. Nadany jej został numer katalogowy, stworzona została okładka, a liner note napisał jeden z najważniejszych jazzowych krytyków Art Lange. Termin jej wydania jednak przedłużał się. Najpierw z miesiąca na miesiąc, potem z roku na rok, aż w końcu zespół przestał grać regularnie koncerty i o płycie pamiętali już tylko najwierniejsi fani talentu Bartka, Marcina i Theo.
