Funk meets bossa nova and disco meets… Strauss. Another trip to the world that no longer exists. The trip to this magical land is guided by the Entertainment Orchestra of Polish Radio and Television in Katowice conducted by Jerzy Milian.
During seventeen years, they recorded a few thousand minutes of music. Among them there are plenty of instrumental gems; only a small part of them was released on albums at that time. “Pretekst”, released in the autumn of 2017, summarised the first year and a half of the Orchestra’s activity. “Bez przesady” (which means no exaggeration) continues this story; it contains pieces recorded in the years 1975-76. You can find here the influence of Philadelphia soul (“Wybacz mi Barry”) and funk music (“Bez przesady”, “Boćki”).
