Why Bother? is a new tricity project created by Bartosz „Boro” Borowski (Lonker See, B3-33), Maciej Szkudlarek (Lastryko, Logophonic) and Łukasz Kumański (Me and That Man, Mulk). The band was slowly but steadily developing during the pandemic time but the Women’s Strike, which broke out at the end of October, turned out to be the final trigger. It made the band enter Maciej’s White Noise Studio and record the whole material on their own in its final shape. The process of composing and recording took two days bringing in the music which may be described as a mixture of noise rock, punk and psychedelic sound. The cover of the album was designed by Adam Bejnarowicz, mix and mastering was done by Łukasz Kumański. The album will be released by the legendary label Antena Krzyku.

Boro about the album:
“Being in the middle of the recording process, we already knew that we wanted to express our thoughts on the topics which actually led us to the studio and to create the music that would sound as it does. We made a decision that all “vocals” should be given to the guests, so we decided to invite different artists to particular songs. As a result, the album is extremely emotional and up to date. To be honest, it’s the most important thing I’ve recorded so far. Among the guests you will hear: Paula Rebellato (Rakta), Joanna Kucharska (Lonker See), Bibi (Hanako)

Why Bother? to nowy trójmiejski twór założony przez Bartosza „Boro” Borowskiego (Lonker See, B3-33) Macieja Szkudlarka (Lastryko, Logophonic) oraz Łukasza Kumańskiego (Me and That Man, Mulk). Zespół kształtował się w trakcie pandemii, bardzo powolnym tempem, do momentu wybuchu Strajku Kobiet na końcu października. Można powiedzieć że te wydarzenia dały zespołowi niezbędny impuls dzięki któremu weszli do studia Macieja, White Noise Studio, gdzie samodzielnie zarejestrowali cały materiał. Proces komponowania i nagrywania zajął dwa dni, w efekcie czego powstała muzyka na pograniczu noise rocka, punka i psychodeli. Okładkę płyty
zaprojektował Adam Bejnarowicz, muzykografika.com, za mix i mastering odpowiedzialny jest Łukasz Kumański. Płyta ukażę się nakładem legendarnej Anteny Krzyku wiosną 2021.

Boro o płycie:
„Już w trakcie nagrywek wiedzieliśmy że chcemy zabrać głos w sprawach które doprowadziły nas do studia i które sprawiły, że nagraliśmy taką a nie inną muzykę. Podjęliśmy wspólną decyzję, że
„wokale” chcemy oddać gościom, więc do każdego numeru zaprosiliśmy innego artystę. W ten sposób powstał album bardzo emocjonalny, bardzo aktualny i dla mnie najważniejszy w życiu. Na
płycie swoich głosów użyczyli Paula Rebellato (Rakta), Joanna Kucharska (Lonker See), Bibi (Hanako), Barbara Jackiewicz (Radio Tczew) Louis Jucker (Coilguns) Rafał Jurewicz (Formy Planet).”
