Cieplarnia (Hothouse) is a project that came about from a love of the musical phenomenon known as "New Wave" or "Cold Wave". The purpose of the project is to revive those sounds by using classic harmonies and emotional expression characteristic of this 80's genre. The group debuted their first single "Do wtóru bez końca" on the compilation "Minimax.pl Vol. 5", which is put together by the renowned Polish radio presenter, Piotr Kaczkowski.

Debiut album "Przebudzony" ("Awakened") is a diverse, yet coherent album that is devoid of the typical monotony associated with New/Cold Wave music.

Second album "Pętla" ("Loop") is continuing exploration of New/Cold Wave genres, with lyrics that deal with a variety of subjects such as relationships and emotions, dependency and the desire to dominate.
There are also political references that deal with the complex mechanism of gaining power and the desire to hold on to it at all costs.

The album is sure to please New/Cold Wave fans, as well as those who expect something more from their music besides simple, carefree entertainment.

Rzeszowska nowofalowa Cieplarnia powraca z drugim albumem. Po świetnie przyjętym debiucie, czas na "Pętlę". Muzycy ponownie zagłębili się w dźwiękach doskonale kojarzących się miłośnikom gatunku z połowy lat 80. Powracają znajome brzmienia i harmonie. To nadal ten sam klimat, ale trochę bardziej zróżnicowany, bogatszy zarówno muzycznie, jak i tekstowo. Jeżeli podobał wam się "Przebudzony", również "Pętla" was nie zawiedzie.

Cieplarnia to projekt rzeszowskich muzyków, który zrodził się z sentymentu do muzyki nowofalowej, granej w Polsce w polowie lat 80-tych. Celem było przywrócenie brzmień z tamtego okresu, typowych harmonii i sposobu wyrażania emocji. Zespół zadebiutował na prestiżowej składance Piotra Kaczkowskiego „Minimax.pl vol.5” nagraniem „Do wtóru i bez końca”. Zostało ono dostrzeżone i ocenione przez recenzenta Teraz Rocka Michala Kirmucia jako „przykuwające uwagę” i jako „niezwykle udana podróż w czasy new wave”.
