We are happy to present a compilation of dubs and remixes produced at Studio AS One in Warsaw between 2006 and 2020. Activator and Smok have selected their best productions and refreshed them especially for this release in 2022. The limited vinyl, in addition to songs already known from various releases, also includes never-released gems.

Studio AS One was established in Warsaw in February 2006 and from the very beginning it has been located in the center of the Polish capital. The founders and owners are two music producers - Jarosław "Smok" Smak and Mariusz "Activator" Dziurawiec. They both have extensive experience and an established position not only on the Polish music market. Smok became known as the guitarist of such bands of the Polish independent scene as Post Regiment, Falarek Band, and currently Ye.stem. He gained his skills as a producer in the 1990s at Studio Złota Skała under the supervision of Robert Brylewski. Activator played bass guitar, among others. in Stage of Unity, and has been collaborating with Kapela Ze Wsi Warszawa for many years. He is also the dub master of the Joint Venture Sound System. He recorded in places such as Tuff Gong Studio in Jamaica and Ariwa Sounds in London.

Studio AS One offers not only recordings, but above all mixing and mastering (including reconstructions of archival materials). They have produced hundreds of productions for renowned domestic and foreign artists related to reggae, world, punk, rock, dub, hip-hop and other musical genres. The albums recorded by them won prestigious music awards, such as the Fryderyki.

Their highly rated sound results from equipping the studio with analog, often unique, top-quality equipment.

As One – there are two of them, but they are one. There is strength in unity. And good music!

Activator i Smok dokonali wyboru swoich najlepszych produkcji i specjalnie je odświeżyli na potrzeby tego wydawnictwa w 2022 roku. Na limitowanym winylu obok znanych już z różnych wydawnictw utworów znalazły się też nigdy nie wydane perły.

Studio AS One powstało w Warszawie w lutym 2006 roku i od samego początku zlokalizowane jest w centrum stolicy Polski. Założycielami i właścicielami jest dwójka producentów muzycznych – Jarosław „Smok” Smak oraz Mariusz „Activator” Dziurawiec. Obaj posiadają spore doświadczenie i ugruntowaną pozycję nie tylko na polskim rynku muzycznym. Smok dał się poznać jako gitarzysta takich formacji polskiej sceny niezależnej jak Post Regiment, Falarek Band, czy obecnie Ye.stem. Swoje producenckie szlify zdobywał w latach 90 w Studio Złota Skała pod okiem Roberta Brylewskiego. Activator grał na gitarze basowej m.in. w Stage of Unity, a od wielu lat współpracuje z Kapelą Ze Wsi Warszawa. Jest też dub masterem Joint Venture Sound System. Nagrywał w takich miejscach jak Tuff Gong Studio na Jamajce czy Ariwa Sounds w Londynie.

Studio AS One to nie tylko nagrania, ale przede wszystkim miks i mastering (w tym rekonstrukcje materiałów archiwalnych). Mają na swym koncie setki produkcji dla renomowanych krajowych i zagranicznych artystów związanych z reggae, world, punk, rock, dub, hip-hop i innymi gatunkami muzycznymi. Nagrywane u nich płyty zdobywały prestiżowe nagrody muzyczne, takie jak Fryderyki.

Ich wysoko oceniane brzmienie wynika z wyposażenia studia w analogowy, często unikatowy sprzęt najwyższej jakości.
