"ULICA has been playing in Bytom since September 1988" - this is what is written on a photocopied leaflet with the band's lyrics. A band without which I probably would not have started my adventure with the publishing house. A band that was gaining momentum and crashing into subsequent obstacles. Until finally, as a trio, in its final form, it recorded material in the studio, played several dozen concerts and... disappeared.
However, it left something behind. The writing of the "story for the insert" ended up in the form of a book (available separately).
The fancy graphic design (including lyrics and translations into English) was provided by Leszek Błyszczyński and Petr. Remaster - Smok.
The CD contains 26 tracks (vinyl: 15) from all incarnations of Ulica (and not only)
"ULICA gra w Bytomiu od września 1988 r." - tak jest napisane na kserowanej ulotce z tekstami zespołu. Zespołu, bez którego być może nie zacząłbym przygody z wydawnictwem. Zespołu, który nabierał rozpędu i rozbijał się o kolejne przeszkody. Aż w końcu, jako trio, w swej finalnej odsłonie, nagrał materiał w studio, zagrał kilkadziesiąt koncertów i... zniknął.
Coś jednak po sobie zostawił. Spisanie „historii na wkładkę" znalazło swój finał w postaci książki (dostępnej osobno).
Wypasioną oprawę graficzną (w tym teksty i tłumaczenia na angielski) zapewnili Leszek Błyszczyński i Petr. Remaster - Smok.
