One of the most magnificent progressive albums of the second half of the 70s. It refers to the experimental face of King Crimson and Van der Graaf Generator, but also carries a powerful charge of pure rock, thoroughly contemporary expression. First European release on CD.

CIRCUS, formed in 1972, rises to the heights of its abilities on "Movin' On". An unusual quartet without an electric guitar or keyboard instruments offers here several shorter, dreamlike forms and an extended suite reminiscent of Van der Graaf Generator's works in terms of structure. There is room here for jazzy vocals, and ethereal harmonies of flute, bass guitar and vibraphone, and claustrophobic slowcore (a dozen or so years before the genre was created!). This is material for repeated listening - each subsequent encounter with this material reveals a new range of details.

“Movin’ On” is released in Europe for the first time on CD, remastered from the original tapes by Tim Boyce. The booklet includes a short sketch of the music, lyrics and unpublished photos.

Powstały w 1972 roku CIRCUS na „Movin’ On” wznosi się na wyżyny swoich możliwości. Niecodzienny kwartet bez gitary elektrycznej i instrumentów klawiszowych proponuje tutaj kilka krótszych, onirycznych form oraz rozbudowaną suitę przypominającą konstrukcją dokonania Van der Graaf Generator. Jest tu miejsce i na jazzujące wokalizy, i eteryczne współbrzmienia fletu, gitary basowej i wibrafonu, i klaustrofobiczny slowcore (kilkanaście lat przed powstaniem gatunku!). To materiał do wielokrotnego słuchania – każde kolejne spotkanie z tym materiałem odsłania nowy wachlarz detali.
