The album contains 10 songs in the style of alternative pop, which were created based on conversations with the families of the Augustów Roundup Victims.

Since the majority of the Victims were men, the perspective of women left alone became the main theme of the album. These songs became a carrier of memories, emotions and stories, told by the widows of the Lipcowy family, their mothers, children and grandchildren, often waiting until the end of their lives for news of their missing loved ones.

The musical layer of the album was supervised by Robert Cichy, and the lyrics by Aleksandra Górecka. "Working on this album was absolutely unique, it was like writing a reportage. Listening to my characters, I touched their longing and pain. To this day, I get goosebumps when I remember some moments of this journey and I believe that thanks to Robert's music, beautiful melodies and the voices of our artists, we managed to pass on at least a fraction of their experiences." - recalls the author of the lyrics. The artists singing on the album LIPCOWE'45 do not hide the fact that these are not ordinary songs for them.

"I believe that this is an important project because the memory of loved ones is important. We are a nation in which we can find similar stories in too many families. History must be talked about and remembered so that it never repeats itself." - says Natalia Nykiel.

"I believe that discovering the secret of the missing members of the Lipcowe families or at least speaking this truth out loud is the bare minimum that we can do to show respect for this community. With my songs on the album LIPCOWE'45, I would like to show sympathy and respect for all those who lost their loved ones in the Augustów forests in previously unexplained circumstances. .......

Album zawiera 10 utworów utrzymanych w stylistyce alternatywnego popu, które powstały na podstawie rozmów z rodzinami Ofiar Obławy Augustowskiej.

Ponieważ większość Ofiar stanowili mężczyźni, to właśnie perspektywa pozostawionych samotnie kobiet stała się motywem przewodnim płyty. Piosenki te stały się nośnikiem wspomnień, emocji i historii, opowiedzianych przez wdowy po Lipcowych, ich matki, dzieci i wnuki, często czekające do końca życia na wieści o zaginionych bliskich.

Nad warstwą muzyczną płyty czuwał Robert Cichy, a nad tekstową Aleksandra Górecka. „Praca nad tą płytą była absolutnie wyjątkowa, przypominała pisanie reportażu. Słuchając moich bohaterów, dotykałam ich tęsknoty i bólu. Do dziś mam ciarki na plecach na wspomnienia niektórych momentów tej podróży i wierzę w to, że dzięki muzyce Roberta, pięknym melodiom i głosom naszych artystek, udało nam się podać dalej choć ułamek ich przeżyć”. - wspomina autorka tekstów. Artystki śpiewające na albumie LIPCOWE’45 nie ukrywają, że nie są to dla nich zwyczajne piosenki.

„Uważam, że to ważny projekt, bo ważna jest pamięć o bliskich. Jesteśmy narodem, w którym w zbyt wielu rodzinach możemy znaleźć podobne historie. O historii trzeba mówić i przypominać ją, by nigdy więcej się nie powtórzyła.” - mówi Natalia Nykiel.

„Wierzę, że odkrycie tajemnicy zaginionych członków rodzin Lipcowych lub choć wypowiedzenie tej prawdy na głos, to niezbędne minimum, które możemy zrobić, żeby okazać szacunek tej społeczności. Swoimi piosenkami na płycie LIPCOWE’45 chciałabym okazać współczucie i szacunek wszystkim tym, którzy w niewyjaśnionych dotąd okolicznościach utracili najbliższych w augustowskich lasach. Oraz samym zaginionym." - dodaje Marika.
