One of the most successful concerts of the band that existed for only a year and a half with Mirek Muzykant. A kind of "The best of SBB" in a refreshed sound formula.

The SBB band from 1998-99 has only been released on concert albums. At the end of the 20th century, recordings were released from the trio's first performance in Giżycko, as well as two parts of a concert from the Bydgoszcz Philharmonic, where the musicians expanded the instrumentation with classical pipe organs and kettledrums. "Live Cuts: Warsaw 1999" supplements this material with a performance that is closest to the "regular", regular appearance of SBB on stage at that time. The concert, recorded for the Third Programme of Polish Radio, includes both classic pieces from the 70s ("Odlot", the entire suite "Going Away", "Memento z banalnym triptychiem"), a new version of the orientalizing "Wish", as well as the then premiere "Całkiem pokoju maszty" and the improvisation that closes the whole thing.

The double album contains a complete recording of the concert from the Agnieszka Osiecka Studio, remastered from the original tapes from the Polish Radio archive. The booklet contains photos and memorabilia, alongside notes about the performance. The album continues the series "Live Cuts", collecting and organizing SBB's concert achievements from the band's entire career - more titles are in preparation.

Skład SBB z lat 1998-99 doczekał się wyłącznie płyt koncertowych. Pod koniec XX wieku ukazały się nagrania z pierwszego występu tria w Giżycku oraz dwie części koncertu z bydgoskiej filharmonii, gdzie muzycy poszerzyli instrumentarium o klasyczne organy piszczałkowe czy kotły. „Live Cuts: Warszawa 1999” uzupełnia ten materiał o występ najbliższy „zwykłemu”, regularnemu pojawieniu się SBB w tamtym czasie na scenie. Koncert zarejestrowany dla Programu Trzeciego Polskiego Radia przynosi zarówno klasyczne utwory z lat 70. („Odlot”, cała suita „Going Away”, „Memento z banalnym tryptykiem”), nową wersje orientalizującego „Wish”, jak i premierowe wtedy „Całkiem spokojne zmęczenie” i zamykającą całość improwizację.

Na dwupłytowym albumie znalazł się kompletny zapis koncertu ze studia im. Agnieszki Osieckiej, zremasterowany z oryginalnych taśm z archiwum Polskiego Radia. W książeczce, obok notki na temat występu, znalazły się zdjęcia i memorabilia. Album kontynuuje serię „Live Cuts”, zbierającą i porządkującą koncertowe dokonania SBB z całej kariery zespołu – w przygotowaniu kolejne tytuły.
