Czesław Niemen's album "The Best of Niemen" (SACD Hybrid) released in a limited edition, in the series "Polskie Nagrania catalogue selections". This is the first edition of this album in Poland produced in the SACD (Super Audio Compact Disc) format.

For the first time in Poland, the classic of Polish pop music is being released on SACD. The series contains the most important albums from the Polskie Nagrania catalogue, which have been newly remastered and released with unprecedented care in the SACD format. The choice of this format is a nod to audiophiles.

Re-edition of the most important albums in the SACD format, due to the availability of the Polskie Nagrania archives in the form of analog master tapes, is a natural choice enabling the albums to come as close as possible to the analog original, raising them to a level never seen before on the Polish music market.

In order to ensure full compatibility with standard CD players, this SACD series has been made as hybrid and contains an additional data layer in the CD Audio format, read by all CD players. The sampling frequency of the DSD data stream used on SACDs is 64 times higher than on an audio CD and is 2.824MHz. This album is actually a gift for Niemen's fans. Here, on one disc, are collected the songs that made him immortal. These are practically without exception compositions played, hummed, reworked, covered to this day. We are dealing here with timeless hits that have found their way into the treasury of Polish songs and have gained the dimension of popular music standards.
