FUERZA OCULTA 5 is the union of musicians Alejandro Rojas-Marcos and Raúl Cantizano with Hidden Forces Trio (Gustavo Domínguez – bass clarinet, Marco Serrato – double bass, and Borja Díaz – drums). Rojas-Marcos is a classically trained pianist whose career has progressively focused on improvisation and on an intense collaboration as a composer and performer in dance and theater shows. Raúl Cantizano is an unclassifiable and unique artist, known for his work as a flamenco and experimental guitarist, being the one to go for expanding the limits of his instrument. HFT is one of the most stable free jazz and improvisation groups in Spain, whose albums have been released in labels like Bruce's Fingers and Raw Tonk. These musicians have previously played with each other with different settings, but it is the first time that all five coincide. Recorded in March 2024 at Tempo Estudios (Mairena del Aljarafe, Seville), "Revised Models" involves the intersection of musicians with different backgrounds guided by the language of free improvisation, from free jazz to even experimental flamenco.
