The new album by Warsaw Afrobeat Orchestra "Nagana" is a fusion of world music and lofi-afrobeat sounds.

A musical collage, combining styles and genres are the band's characteristic features.

"Nagana" is the fifth album by Warsaw Afrobeat Orchestra, it contains six songs sung in Polish. In the musical layer, unlike previous compositions, there are elements of sampling and synthetic sounds. Combining styles and genres is the band's characteristic feature, a real musical collage.

"Nagana is a unique album for several reasons important to us.
For the first time in our recordings, we used a combination of synthetic and analog sounds, calling it the lofi-afrobeat style. During the work, we decided that this new form would stay with us for some time, also during concerts.

Nagana is an album where you can hear the sound of our friend Rafał's trumpet for the last time. His sudden death was a powerful emotional experience for the entire band."

The album "Nagana" was released in May 2025 in CD and digital format by Soliton.

In March 2013, the group's first EP was released in digital form. The recordings caught the attention of the American label Ubiquity Records. In November 2013, they released the band's red vinyl single entitled "Only Now", which also included a remix by producer Bosq from Whiskey Barons associated with the label.

In Poland, the songs "Your Way" and "Close To Far" (featuring Mamadou Diouf) achieved high ratings on the charts on Polish Radio RDC. "Only Now" was voted the second best Polish song of 2013 in a vote by listeners of the Strefa Dread broadcast on Czwórka. The band performed, among others, during the Warsaw Grand Festival Róbrege and on the audio-video broadcast of Polish Radio Czwórka.

Nowy album Warsaw Afrobeat Orchestra "Nagana" to fuzja brzmień worldmusic i lofi-afrobeat.
Muzyczny kolaż, łączenie stylistyk i gatunków to cechy charakterystyczne zespołu.

"Nagana" to piąty album zespołu Warsaw Afrobeat Orchestra, zawiera sześć utworów śpiewanych w języku polskim. W warstwie muzycznej w odróżnieniu od wcześniejszych kompozycji pojawiły się elementy samplingu i syntetycznych brzmień. Łączenie stylistyk i gatunków to cechy charakterystyczne zespołu, prawdziwy muzyczny kolaż.

"Nagana to wyjątkowy album z kilku ważnych dla nas powodów.
Pierwszy raz w naszych nagraniach użyliśmy połączenia syntetycznych i analogowych brzmień nazywając to stylistyką lofi-afrobeat. W trakcie pracy podjęliśmy decyzję, że ta nowa forma zostanie z nami na jakiś czas, także podczas koncertów.
Nagana jest albumem gdzie po raz ostatni możecie usłyszeć brzmienie trąbki naszego przyjaciela Rafała. Jego nagła śmierć była potężnym emocjonalnym przeżyciem dla całego zespołu."

Album "Nagana" został wydany w maju 2025r. w formacie CD i plików cyfrowych przez wydawnictwo Soliton.


W marcu 2013 roku w formie cyfrowej ukazał się pierwszy EP grupy. Nagrania przykuły uwagę amerykańskiej wytwórni Ubiquity Records. W listopadzie 2013 r. ich nakładem ukazał się czerwony winylowy singiel zespołu pt. "Only Now", zawierający dodatkowo remix dokonany przez związanego z wytwórnią producenta Bosq z Whiskey Barons.

W Polsce utwory "Your Way" i "Close To Far" (z gościnnym udziałem Mamadou Diouf) uzyskały wysokie notowania na liście przebojów na antenie Polskiego Radia RDC. "Only Now" został wybrany drugim najlepszym polskim utworem 2013 roku w głosowaniu słuchaczy audycji Strefa Dread na antenie Czwórki. Zespół wystąpił m.in. podczas warszawskiego Grand Festiwalu Róbrege czy na antenie audio-video Polskiego Radia Czwórka.
