Cold colors, but colors ...

Elder and younger listener ... On this album there is music from the cult cassette of the Łódź band Pornography "1989-1990" in the cold-whave-wage cassette. This is the only release of the band so far, the precursors of Gothic rock in this part of Europe, one of the most important groups of Polish alternative music of the late 1980s and the beginning of the 90s. They spent it on the cassette, because then, in 1990 the vinyl stopped being a popular medium and CD still did not exist in our geographical zone ...

In the second half of the 1980s, in the post-industrial Łódź, few phenomena allowed to go from outside the gray reality of the still ubiquitous PRL. Alternative music was dominated by dirty and rough punk-rock, or hardcore-punk, blending with gloomy quite a landscape of the city raped by the political transformation. Zimne kolory, a jednak kolory...

Starszy i młodszy słuchaczu... Na tej płycie znajduje się muzyka z kultowej już w kręgach zimnofalowych kasety magnetofonowej łódzkiego zespołu Pornografia „1989-1990”. To jedyne jak dotąd wydawnictwo zespołu, prekursorów rocka gotyckiego w tej części Europy, jednej z ważniejszych grup polskiej muzyki alternatywnej końca lat 80. i początku 90. Wydali to na kasecie, ponieważ wtedy, w 1990 winyl przestawał być popularnym nośnikiem a CD jeszcze w naszej strefie geograficznej tak na dobre nie istniało...

W drugiej połowie lat 80' w postindustrialnej już wówczas Łodzi niewiele zjawisk pozwalało na wyjście spoza szarej rzeczywistości wciąż wszechobecnego PRL-u.
