The debut album from the Warsaw-based band, comprised of musicians from Government Flu, The Stubs, Drip Of Lies, and Calm The Fire. Inspired by classic Polish punk rock from the 1980s, the music was intended to be simple and dirty, strongly based on direct Polish lyrics. It's a feisty, abrasive punk in the old Polish style, like Siekiera or Armia.

The band Jad formed in Warsaw in 2017 and quickly released a five-song demo cassette. The band quickly began touring, despite a very short set initially lasting less than 10 minutes. In 2019, they released the album "Strach," which was very well received in Poland and around the world. The CD features not only new songs but also five bonus tracks from the demo.

In the summer of 2018, Jad toured Europe with Government Flu, and in the fall of 2019, they toured the East Coast of the United States. In March 2020, the band released the EP "Wstręt," which was prepared for a European tour with the American band Full Of Hell. The tour ultimately canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Summer 2021 brought performances at the Jarocin and Soundrive festivals in Gdańsk, as well as a tour with Kat&Roman Kostrzewski, Vader, Gruzja, and Clairvoyance.

Muzyka inspirowana klasyką polskiego punk rocka z lat 80-tych, z założenia miała być prosta i brudna, mocno oparta na bezpośrednich polskich tekstach. Zadziorny, szorstki punk w starym polskim stylu jak np. Siekiera czy Armia.

Zespół Jad powstał w Warszawie w 2017 roku i błyskawicznie wydał kasetę demo z pięcioma utworami. Zespół zaczął szybko koncertować, mimo bardzo krótkiego setu trwającego początkowo niespełna 10 minut. W 2019 r. przyszedł czas na materiał „Strach”, który został bardzo dobrze odebrany w Polsce jak i na całym świecie. Na cd znalazły się nie tylko nowe numery, ale również pięć numerów z dema jako bonus.

Latem 2018 Jad zagrał europejską trasę razem z Government Flu, a jesienią 2019 trasę po Wschodnim Wybrzeżu Stanów Zjednoczonych. W marcu 2020 zespół wydał EP „Wstręt”, który został przygotowany na europejską trasę z amerykańskim Full Of Hell. Trasa ostatecznie nie odbyła się z powodu pandemii covid-19. Lato 2021 przyniosło występy na festiwalach Jarocin oraz Soundrive w Gdańsku, jak również trasę z Kat&Roman Kostrzewski, Vader, Gruzja, Clairvoyance.
