Wczasy's third album, "Jungle," is the next stage in the band's evolution. Following the cold wave-inflected "Zawody" and the melancholic "To wszystko już minie," the duo of Jakub Żwirełło and Bartłomiej Maczalek, accompanied by drummer Tomek Popowski, known for his refined approach to rhythm, present a completely new sound—warmer, more energetic, and more organic.

The title "Jungle" refers both to the world depicted in the lyrics about the complexities of everyday life, in which it's easy to get lost, and to the music, which features Balearic, tropical motifs, smuggled in here and there throughout the arrangements. The album balances urban realism with the freedom of layers inspired by summer landscapes, between introspection and a lightness of sound. Jangly guitars intertwine with a house pulse, and electronic backing gives way to live drums and the band's natural energy.

The album is both a social commentary and a guide to the modern world. "Holidays" still employs its characteristic language – simple, honest, at times ironic, yet deeply human. There are no grand metaphors here, but rather everyday images that become impressionistic poetry: hectic urban landscapes, glass-enclosed gyms, park avenues, metro stations, and clubs where the heart of the city beats, but also the depths of the sea, lunar safaris, and natural landscapes far from the hustle and bustle of the streets. This realism, intertwined with a subtle desire for peace, creates a world where everyone strives to find their desired oasis and their own sunshine. "Jungle" is captivating: mysterious, rainy, yet at the same time, it allows you to bask in the sun and recall the joyful moments of each complex journey.

Trzeci album Wczasów pt. “Dżungla” to kolejny etap w ewolucji zespołu. Po zimnofalowych „Zawodach” i melancholijnym „To wszystko kiedyś minie”, duet Jakuba Żwirełło i Bartłomieja Maczaluka, w towarzystwie perkusisty Tomka Popowskiego, znanego z wyrafinowanego podejścia do zapodawania rytmu, prezentuje zupełnie nowe brzmienie – cieplejsze, bardziej energetyczne i organiczne.

Tytuł „Dżungla” odnosi się zarówno do świata przedstawionego w tekstach o zawiłej codzienności, w której łatwo się zgubić, jak i do muzyki, w której obecne są balearyczne, tropikalne motywy, przemycane tu i ówdzie w aranżacjach. Album balansuje między miejskim realizmem a swobodą warstw inspirowanych letnimi pejzażami, między introspekcją a lekkością brzmienia. Janglowe gitary splatają się z house’owym pulsem, a elektroniczne podkłady ustępują miejsca żywym bębnom i naturalnej energii zespołu.

Album jest zarówno komentarzem społecznym, jak i przewodnikiem po współczesnym świecie. Wczasy wciąż operują charakterystycznym dla siebie językiem – prostym, szczerym, momentami ironicznym, ale głęboko ludzkim. Tu nie ma wielkich metafor, są codzienne obrazy, które stają się impresjonistyczną poezją: nerwowe krajobrazy miejskie, przeszklone siłownie, parkowe aleje, stacje metra i kluby, w których bije serce miasta, ale też morska głębia, księżycowe safari i krajobrazy przyrody oddalone od ulicznego zgiełku. Ten realizm, spleciony z subtelnym pragnieniem spokoju, tworzy świat, w którym każdy stara się odnaleźć upragnioną oazę i swoje słońce. „Dżungla” wciąga: jest tajemnicza, deszczowa, a jednocześnie pozwala wygrzać się na słońcu i przypomnieć sobie radosne momenty każdej zawiłej podróży.

Materiał powstawał w odosobnieniu, w drewnianej chacie na Kaszubach, pośród bujnej, dzikiej roślinności, co znacząco wpłynęło na jego finalne brzmienie oraz w Poznaniu, wiosną i latem 2025 roku. Maste.......
