Soul Service has been around for twenty years! Together with Poland's greatest DJ collective, responsible for the cult "Polish Funk" series and the "Kroniki filmowe" and "Interwizje" compilations, we decided to celebrate these two decades in a special way – on the medium they hold closest to their hearts. The "Around the Polish Funk. Soul Service 20th Anniversary" box set features five vinyl singles showcasing diverse shades of Polish funk. From excellent film themes ("Niech pan nie stan na drzwiach" from the comedy "Dziecioł"), through their best studio projects, to previously unreleased recordings by Novi Singers, Gramine, and Metrum.

This is not only a summary of Soul Service's activities to date, but also the start of a new series of vinyl "sevens", on which we will discover together not always obvious stories of a dance nature.

Soul Service istnieje już dwadzieścia lat! Wspólnie z tym najwspanialszym kolektywem DJ’skim w Polsce, odpowiedzialnym m.in. za kultową serię „Polish Funk”, a także kompilacje „Kroniki filmowe” i „Interwizje”, postanowiliśmy celebrować te dwie dekady w szczególny sposób – na nośniku, który jest im najbliższy. Box „Around the Polish Funk. Soul Service 20th Anniversary” to pięć winylowych singli prezentujących najróżniejsze odcienie polskiego funku. Od doskonałych motywów filmowych („Niech pan nie staje przy drzwiach” z komedii „Dzięcioł”), przez najlepsze projekty studyjne po niepublikowane wcześniej nagrania Novi Singers, Gramine czy Metrum.

To nie tylko podsumowanie dotychczasowej działalności Soul Service, ale również start nowej serii winylowych „siódemek”, na których będziemy wspólnie odkrywać nie zawsze oczywiste historie o tanecznym charakterze.
