The concert was played to promote "The Rock," SBB's first album with Gabor Nemeth on drums. A true "best of" trio, plus a few surprising arrangements.

In the fall of 2007, SBB returned to the Polish scene with "The Rock" and a successful, extensive tour. In the spring of the following year, the musicians appeared sporadically on stage to further promote the release. They appeared in Budapest, the Czech Republic, and at the only concert in Poland in this series – in Tychy. Only three songs from "The Rock" were performed that evening – the rest were the band's classics, freshly reinterpreted with great success. The slow, at times psychedelic version of "Skała" (with Józef Skrzek on bass) and "Pielgrzym" for two drums and a heavy use of synthesizers are surprising. There were also dynamic guitar madness ("Rainbow Man," "Odlot") and a charming version of "W kraysce chmur twych (Ojcu)" (In the Cradle of Your Hands (Ojcu)".

The complete recording of the Tychy concert fills two CDs. The booklet includes a note about the tour and unpublished photos of the band. The album continues the "Live Cuts" series, collecting and organizing SBB's live performances from throughout the band's career – more titles are in the works.

Jesienią 2007 roku SBB powróciło na polską scenę albumem „The Rock” i udaną, dużą trasą koncertową. Wiosną roku następnego muzycy sporadycznie pojawiali się na scenie, by dalej promować wydawnictwo. Pojawili się w Budapeszcie, Czechach oraz na jedynym w tym cyklu występów koncercie w Polsce – w Tychach. Z albumu „The Rock” zabrzmiały tego wieczoru zaledwie trzy utwory – resztę wypełniły klasyczne dokonania grupy, odczytywane na świeżo z bardzo udanym efektem. Zaskakuje powolna, psychodeliczna momentami wersja „Skały” (z Józefem Skrzekiem na gitarze basowej) oraz „Pielgrzym” na dwie perkusje i dużo syntezatorów. Nie zabrakło dynamicznie brzmiących gitarowych szaleństw („Rainbow Man”, „Odlot”) oraz pełnej uroku wersji „W kołysce dłoni twych (Ojcu)”.

Kompletny zapis koncertu z Tychów wypełnia dwie płyty CD. W książeczce – notka na temat trasy oraz niepublikowane zdjęcia tego składu. Album kontynuuje serię „Live Cuts”, zbierającą i porządkującą koncertowe dokonania SBB z całej kariery zespołu – w przygotowaniu kolejne tytuły.
