Pawel Milewski & Rafal Bawirsz met during their Pedagigical Studies at University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn in 2001. At that time, they were involved in different local bands playing rock and hardcore music. As they were sharing good musical understanding, they were planning to form their own musical project. Though, they didn’t realized at that point, they would soon replace electric guitars with the acoustic ones and struggle with their first attempts to sing.

They were rehearsing together during their staying in Britain in 2005, and a year later, after coming back to Poland, they wrote the first songs under the name Twilite (inspired by the song of Twilight Singers- “Twilite Kid”). They cooperated solely through the Internet - Pawel was sending songs to Rafal, who was adding the melody lines and afterwards uploading the songs to their Myspace page. After working this way for a few months, they settled in Dublin, Ireland in 2006 and started regular acoustic sessions at home.
With some help of good people (e.g. Piotr Maciejewski from the band Muchy) their songs “How can you sleep” and “Disobey” were included in the second and third edition of “Trójkowa Ofensywa” - a compilation created by Piotr Selmach from Polish Radio “Trójka”; and “All you need” in the collection of the music blog called “ Don’t Panic We Are From Poland vol.2”.

In May, 2008 they were noticed and invited by the Kapsa brothers from Contemporary Noise Quintet to record their debut album “Bits & Pieces” which is a collection of songs from the past two years spent in Dublin. In November, 2008 the band played the concert broadcasted live on Polish Radio “Trójka” in Warsaw. The record is scheduled for release January, 2009.

„Twilite“ to gitarowe duo. Dwoje ludzi, których łączy pasja grania muzyki. Muzyki oryginalnej, nie powielającej żadnych wzorców, ale przedewszystkim bardzo dostępnej i zrozumiałej dla każdego. Tylko dwie akustyczne gitary i dwa głosy, ale za to jak pięknie! W ich piosenkach słychać echa Cata Stevensa, Simon & Garfunkel, akustycznego Jima O’Rourka czy też współczesnych songwriterów. Jednak ich styl I melodyka pozostaje bardzo oryginalna, a piosenki pozostają w głowie na zawsze!

Pawel Milewski i Rafal Bawirsz poznali sie studiujac Pedagogike na Uniwersytecie Warminsko - Mazurskim w Olsztynie w 2001 roku. W tym czasie grali w róznych rockowych, a takze hardcore'owych, znanych jedynie lokalnie zespolach. Dobrze rozumiejac sie muzycznie planowali zalozenie wspólnego projektu, nie majac jeszcze pojecia, ze w niedlugim czasie odloza gitary elektryczne, na rzecz akustycznego grania i pierwszych powaznych zmagan ze spiewaniem.

Podczas kilkumiesiecznej emigracji na wybrzezu Wielkiej Brytanii w 2005 roku rozpoczely sie próby wspólnego grania, a w niecaly rok pózniej po powrocie do Polski powstaly pierwsze utwory Twilite (nazwa zostala zapozyczona z "Twilite kid" grupy Twilight singers) i byly wysylane mailowo przez Pawla z Biskupca do Krakowa, gdzie zostawaly uzupelniane o Rafalowe linie melodyczne i umieszczane na ich stronie myspace. W tym internetowym porozumieniu trwali przez kilka miesiecy az do sierpnia 2006 roku, gdy duet umiejscowil sie w Irlandzkim Dublinie i rozpoczal regularne akustyczne sesje. Tworzac i nagrywajac w domowych warunkach udalo im sie dzieki pomocy kilku zyczliwych osób (jak Piotr Maciejewski z Much) zamiescic utwory na plytach drugiej ("How can you sleep") i trzeciej ("Disobey") edycji 'Trojkowej Offensywy' Piotra Stelmacha oraz internetowej kompilacji bloga Don't Panic We Are From Poland vol.2 ("All you need").

W maju 2008 zauwazeni i zaproszeni przez braci Kapsa z Contemporary Noise Qui.......
