Five tracks, 49 minutes. This is the debut album from Finnish Black Metallers, Horse Latitudes. Comprising of two bassists and a drummer, the band have previously self-released a sold out EP. Released on CD, the vinyl version will be made available later in 2011.

Horse Latitudes are an excellent new band from Finland playing unique occult metal. Comprising of two basses and a singing drummer, its clear this band is out of the ordinary, and the debut album is full of unexpected material. Somehow combining elements of epic sludge, Nordic leftfield underground metal bands like URFAUST and RIDE FOR REVENGE, and with hints of the Bradford Doom sound of yesteryear, particularly in the vocal delivery, this is a potent sonic brew.

Heavy, throbbing bass, emotive and yet strangely detached vocals and tribal pounding drums distill into a powerful metal beast tearing the cosmos asunder.

The album is presented as a jewel case CD with six panel booklet. All artwork was created by the band. A vinyl edition will follow shortly.
