It's a cold satanic soup coming from hell’s kitchen. When chef Satan starts cooking, wet showers are coming out of his hut, not dry smoke. At least the devil cooks with water.

For years now the Kammerflimmer Kollektief have skillfully sailed waves of various musical genres. On Teufelskamin a spooky guitar sound, a Surf Noir is a new ingredient. And bravely, they call out for Albert Ayler's helping ghost. Kammerflimmer Kollektief is creating a great authentic dish over a nice long running fire and like the devil they cook with water. Komin Diabła, tak brzmi po polsku tytuł kolejnego albumu Kammerflimmer Kollektief. Jest to odwołanie do tworu geologicznego w Bretanii we Francji oraz do legendy, jakoby ów skalny twór był rzeczywistym kominkiem samego Diabła, który gotuje tak, że zamiast dymu tryska woda. Muzyka Kolektywu ma jednak w tym paradoksie dodać ciepła. Niczym w prostym wyobrażeniu kiedy stoisz w pustej, zimowej przestrzeni, a na horyzoncie majaczy samotna chata z dymem ulatującym ponad dachem. W środku zasiadasz przed... kominkiem, dostajesz ciepłą zupę, jesteś bezpieczny i otacza ciebie dźwięk.
Co upichcił przy swoim kominku Kammerflimmer Kolliektef? Jest spokojniej, delikatniej niż na poprzednim albumie "Wildling". Specyficzny nastrój zostaje ten sam, inaczej poprowadzone są instrumenty i wokal, który nie potrzebuje nawet słów. Ambientowa elektronika miesza się z free jazzem i piosenkowym avant-popem.
