It sure has been a long and winding road towards finalizing the reissue of the deluxe edition of the Behind The Magnolia Curtain debut album (plus the Blow Your Top 12“-EP) by Tav Falco & Panther Burns (featuring the late Alex Chilton). Almost a year in the making, but no too late to become a 30th Anniversary Edition, as the record was recorded in summer 1981 at Ardent Studios Memphis TN. It will come as 2-CD and 2-LP edition, remastered and well packaged. We’re shootin‘ for a September release (2011, of course), but don’t hold your breath.

A release party at the 100 Club in London is in the works and maybe we can convince Tav Falco & cohorts to do a special set and play the debut album in it’s entirety?!?
