LXMP is a musical project of the two best-dressed people in Warsaw, Piotras and Macias (don’t let those Greek names fool you!), who are better known in some circles as the rhythm section of Baaba or as 60 Minut Projekt, a 60-minute drum’n’bass duo. LXMP, however, explores other realms of the musical fascinations of the protagonists of this tedious biographical note which will from now on circulate the Internet in a thousand permutations but always containing what I just wrote ‘cause – you know – the guy who’ll be doing copy’n’paste will not get to the middle of the text and so it’s already out theeeere. Would you cut’n’paste it now? That’s what I thought. Using the basic set of drums, bass guitar and two MS-20 synthesizers, Piotras and Macias (who are NOT Greek, remember) are trying to recall the memories of romantic strolls across downtown Warsaw allotments, unexplained absences from phys-ed classes or the taste of snow in far-away mountain resorts. As professor Andrzej Obczyński once beautifully observed, “It’s all about fucking disaster, maaaan.” (The distinguished historian was stripped of his academic privilages after he made that remark during the quarterly luncheon of Vesser College faculty and sponsors, but his credibility with freshman students remained unscathed.) On May 14, 2010, the duo’s debut album, entitled – quite accurately – Trois Suites + Une Miniature, and containing just above 20 minutes of music, was published by the Lado ABC label. In 2012 they plan to release four albums in trio mode, with guests from all around the world (Chad Popple and Kazuhisa Uchihashi to name two of 'em). Pierwsza z czterech płyt nagrywanych w trio z różnymi wspaniałymi muzykami. Ta dokumentuje nasze spotkanie z Chadem Popple z Gorge Trio.

LXMP to projekt dwóch nienajlepiej ubierających się warszawiaków - Piotrasa i Maciasa, którzy na codzień znani są jako sekcja rytmiczna zespołu Baaba albo jako 60 Minut Projekt - godzinny duet dramenbejsowy. LXMP jednakowoż eksploruje inne obszary zainteresowań bohaterów tej z trudem skleconej notki, która będzie od teraz krążyć po internecie w tysiącu permutacji, ale zawsze z tym co teraz napisałem, bo wiadomo, ze jak jest tak w środku tekstu, to ten co robi copypaste, to tu już nie dojdzie i poooszło. Czy weźmiesz i wytniesz teraz? Używając zestawu zasadniczego w postaci perkusji, basu i dwóch syntezatorów MS-20, Piotras i Macias starają się przywołać wspomnienia romantycznych spacerów po działkach, nieusprawiedliwionych nieobecności na wuefie lub też smaku śniegu na Kalatówkach. Jak to pięknie powiedział prof. Andrzej Obczyński: "Chodzi o to, żeby był rozpierdol".
