editor's info:
This is the fifth album proper from England's finest cinematic composer. All previous albums first pressings have sold out within 6 months of release - we expect this album to do exactly the same! Cinematic dark soundtracks of the highest calibre - intense passages and bleak anthems in a constant flux, dark emotions and neo-classical edged intensity. Possibly the finest work from BAND OF PAIN to date. Don`t miss this one! Ltd x 1000 digipak. Limited stock still available.

Cold Spring Records have always interested me as a label. For some time now they have been releasing some of the finest black ambient, neo-folk and military post-industrial music that the world has to offer. With this particular release, Band Of Pain's Que Amiga, I am going to stick my neck on the line here and call it a genuine "classic"! From the first sound that gently emits from your speakers, you know that this is going to be a quality recording. Band Of Pain lavish every chord structure with a beauty and power that can often be quite moving, and Que Amiga has a majestic element to it that is hard to find in most cinematic recordings of its kind. It takes you on an emotional and inspiring musical journey, packed full of twists and bends. This album could feasibly have been written by Wagner, that is, if he was alive in the 21st century. A definite contender for the album of the year and an album I am looking forward to listening to for many years to come.
Najnowsza produkcja Steve'a Pittisa, znanego też ze Splintered. Mrocznawe przestrzenie w wykonaniu
mistrza gatunku. Szczególne wrażenie robi utwór ostatni - "Panic In Mathraki", ponad 20-minutowy,
rozpoczynający się minimalem, poprzez strunowe przestrzenie, by później rozkręcić się na dobre do
mocarnej elektroniki.
