What is Siksa?
The HerStory of SIKSA is a part of history of Poland and the world, history that she long ago decided to end forever. Her performances are a real rollercoaster. Perfopunk that reminds you why you wanted to grow up when you were a kid, and now
that you’re all grown up, you wanna go back to being a kid. SIKSA is an infantile and antisocial nightmare taken from punk, theater and literary scenes, with a bit of R.I.P. R.A.P. Call it a concert, theater, monodrama or contemporary art, but never forget that SIKSA is dead serious. She doesn’t troll, she doesn’t giggle, so you’re out of luck. SIKSA is created by Alex (a non-actress), who rants and screams to vulgar bass performances composed by Buri (a non-musician). If you plan on doing something nasty or treacherous towards SIKSA, you better watch out, because SIKSA knows that REVENGE IS A DISH BEST SERVED COLD. Be like Siksa, stop fucking about.
“STABAT MATER DOLOROSA” is reminiscences of third season of SIKSA’s life, recorded on the streets of Berlin, summer 2017.

"(...) Niech będzie, że Siksa to nie muzyka. Za to wyjątkowo fascynująca niemuzyka. (...) Kiedy już ludyczne potrzeby zostaną zaspokojone, kiedy już nie będzie, z czego więcej się ponabijać, zostanie treść wypełniona celnymi refleksjami o byciu kobietą, o byciu człowiekiem, o tym, że faszystą można być niezależnie od tego, jakie poglądy się wyznaje. Może kiedy ujmuję to w ten sposób, zaczyna przypominać protest songi Jacka Kaczmarskiego, ale, kurwa, te słowa uderzają z taką siłą, jakiej przez ostatnie dziesięć lat nie wykrzesał żaden punk rockowy zespół w tym kraju. Siksę można kochać albo nienawidzić, nic pomiędzy. Podobnie jak kiedyś Iggy Pop albo Sex Pistols, tak dzisiaj ona pokazuje środkowy palec hipokrytom i oprawcom wolności. Dlaczego nie mogła zamiast tego po prostu założyć punkowej kapeli? Bo to już nie działa, bo koszulki Ramones można kupić w Tesco, bo punk rock został wchłonięty przez kapitalizm na tej samej zasadzie, na jakiej chrześcijaństwo pożarło Trygława i Sol Invictus. Trzeba nowego ogniska buntu, a każda kolejna osoba wkurwiona przez Siksę próbuje ugasić je za pomocą benzyny"
