The selection of album called “From the roots of Moravian Folklore”, one can find 13 music bands that represent the artists who nowadays draw from the tradition of Moravian folklore, compose their own songs or interpret the folk ones in their own arrangement and thus preserve the creative link between the musical past and future thereby strengthening the original and unique culture of the Czech lands. Bands and interprets with a long tradition (Hradišťan, Iva Bittová, Teagrass, Tomáš Kočko) appear on the album along with young, beginning musicians (Maraca, Docuku, Benedikta) who still discover the beauty of folk songs. Target of the album is not to survey the entire range of this musical branch so popular nowadays since the capacity of the album is too small but it tries to give to give the listeners at home and abroad an idea about the Moravian world music.

Na albu „ Z kořenů moravského folklóru“ se nachází 13 hudebních skupin, které v současnosti reprezentují umělce, kteří čerpajíce z tradic moravského folklóru, skládají vlastní písně nebo interpretují lidové ve vlastních aranžích a tak zachovávají tvůrčí nit mezi uměleckou minulostí a budoucností a tím posilují originální a jedinečnou kulturu české země. Na albu se vedle sebe objevují kapely s dlouholetou tradicí (Hradišťan, Iva Bittová, Teagrass, Tomáš Kočko) ale i mladí začínajícící muzikanti (Maraca, Docuku, Benedikta), kteří teprve objevují krásu lidové písně. Album si neklade za cíl zmapovat celou šíři této v současné době velmi populární hudební oblasti, na to je kapacita albu malá, ale snaží se posluchačům doma i v zahraničí přiblížit moravskou worldmusic.
