Iva Bittová, singer, actress and violinist, is one of the most prominent personalities of the Czech alternative music scene. The album Kolednice was recorded in 1995 in Lelekovice with her children’s choir, Lelky. She chose the songs from the collections of Mr Sušil and Mr Seidel. Iva Bittová arranged the Christmas songs herself, while Pavel Fajt, Pavel Koudelka and Dorothea Kellerov8, Petr Keller and Martin Opršál helped her with the recording. It was done by Pavel Fajt in the church of St. James and Philip (Sv. Jakub a Filip) in Lelekovice; mixed in studio V in Zlin by Ivo Viktorín and Petr Vavřík in August and September 1995. The album was unavailable for 20 years and is now being released in a paper digipack with the original cover, painted by Alois Mikulka.
