The place of our first musical meeting was Riehen in Switzerland. It was there that in 2016 we performed together for the first time Astor Piazzolla's Spring during the Vier Jahreszeiten (Four Seasons) festival, whose artistic director is the cellist Sebastian Uszyński. The joy we derived from playing together, as well as the enthusiastic, lively reception from the audience, encouraged us to continue our activities.

In the following years we performed many times with the cycle of Astor Piazzolla's Seasons both in Poland and Switzerland, constantly expanding our repertoire with other excellent pieces by this author. The sound of the violin, cello and accordion gave us the opportunity to reproduce the passionate, fiery character of the tango, of which Astor Piazzolla was the undisputed master.

The compositions recorded on this album, most often scored for violin, cello and piano, gain a new, interesting sound, even closer to the music of Astor Piazzolla, thanks to the accordion part arranged by Iwo Jedynecki.

Miejscem naszego pierwszego muzycznego spotkania było szwajcarskie Riehen. To tam w roku 2016 po raz pierwszy wspólnie wykonaliśmy Wiosnę Astora Piazzolli podczas festiwalu Vier Jahreszeiten (Cztery pory roku), którego dyrektorem artystycznym jest wiolonczelista – Sebastian Uszyński. Radość jaką czerpaliśmy ze wspólnego grania, a także entuzjastyczne, żywiołowe przyjęcie przez publiczność, zachęciły nas do dalszych działań.
W kolejnych latach występowaliśmy wielokrotnie z cyklem Pór Roku Astora Piazzolli zarówno w Polsce jak i w Szwajcarii, stale poszerzając nasz repertuar o inne znakomite utwory tego autora. Brzmienie skrzypiec, wiolonczeli i akordeonu dało nam możliwość odwzorowania pełnego namiętności, ognistego charakteru tanga, którego Astor Piazzolla był niekwestionowanym mistrzem.

Zarejestrowane na niniejszej płycie kompozycje, najczęściej przeznaczone na skrzypce, wiolonczelę i fortepian, dzięki opracowanej przez Iwa Jedyneckiego partii akordeonu zyskują nowe, ciekawe, jeszcze bliższe muzyce Astora Piazzolli, brzmienie.
