Two excellent muscians from Gdańsk - bariton and tenor saxophone player Tomasz Gadecki, drummer Michał Gos and Ukrainian famous bass player known for example from the great and legendary Ken Vandermark's Resonance made a band and decided to pay astonishing and uncommon tribute to John Coltrane.

But this is not a simple tribute. It's the music inspired by Coltrane as musician, personality and human being. Great Coltrane's songs like Naima, The Father And The Son, And The Holy Ghost or Sephardic Light became only a starting point to show us how Trane's music can live in contemporary improvised act.
All music was commissioned and played in Klub Żak during famous Jazz Jantar Festival 2019.

Dwaj znakomici gdańscy muzycy - Tomasz Gadecki i Michał Gos oraz słynny ukraiński basista znany między innymi z wielkiego i legendarnego Resonance Kena Vandermarka, stworzyli zespół i postanowili złożyć zadziwiający i niecodzienny hołd Johnowi Coltrane'owi.

Ale to nie jest zwykły hołd. To muzyka inspirowana postacią Coltrane'a - człowiekiem osobowością i wirtuozem. Twórczość wielkiego jazzmana stała się tylko punktem wyjścia do pokazania, jak jego utwory mogą żyć we współczesnym improwizowanym akcie.
