The album ZERO WASTE certainly refers to ecology and care for the Earth. It is such a strong and growing social movement that I couldn't resist referring to it.

Therefore, the cover partially imitates the use of ecological cardboard. However, how can the idea of ​​ZERO WASTE be applied to the plastic CD tray and the CD itself inside the packaging?
This is hypocrisy and insincerity rooted in human nature and in mine as well.

Therefore, ZERO WASTE is rather a general commentary on the world of global trends, political incidents, fashionable slogans and a wide spectrum of human behavior.
All these aspects were blended with the author's subjective emotions - his dreams, disappointments, fears and hopes - and composed into a coherent musical story, ZERO WASTE.

The album ZERO WASTE is the debut material of the Szymon Zawodny Quintet band.
The album contains 8 of the leader's original compositions, often inspired by the balanced aesthetics of ECM recordings or the sparse work of Brian Blade, along with the lush two-voice saxophones appearing in his songs.
