The album is the third installment of the series of presentations of Polish music for wind quintet. The disc includes works inspired by, among others, early music and Lithuanian folklore. These are compositions of a light nature – delicate, melodic motifs intertwine with elements of pastiche and burlesque, but also the elegance of old dances. Among the creators are both authors of many chamber works and those whose element was symphony. For all, a quintet composed of woodwind instruments is an inspiring medium, allowing for a musical statement full of colors, emotions and charm appropriate for this type of ensemble. Tonal, even archaizing harmony, as well as the gentleness of the harmonies of perfectly matched instruments soothe the mood. This is undoubtedly also due to the Cracow Golden Quintet. The musicians present excellent coherence of sound and articulation, lightness and virtuosity, thanks to which the listener will appreciate all the values ​​of the presented pieces.

Album stanowi trzecią już odsłonę cyklu prezentacji polskiej muzyki przeznaczonej na kwintet dęty. Na krążku znalazły się dzieła m.in. inspirowane muzyką dawną i folklorem litewskim. To kompozycje lekkie w charakterze – delikatne, melodyjne motywy splatają się z elementami pastiszu i burleski, ale też elegancją dawnych tańców. Wśród twórców znajdują się zarówno autorzy wielu dzieł kameralnych jak i ci, których żywiołem była symfonika. Dla wszystkich kwintet złożony z instrumentów dętych drewnianych jest inspirującym medium, pozwalającym na muzyczną wypowiedź pełną kolorów, emocji i uroku właściwego dla tego rodzaju zespołu. Tonalna, a nawet archaizująca harmonika, a także łagodność współbrzmień idealnie zgranych instrumentów koją nastrój. Niewątpliwie jest to także zasługą Cracow Golden Quintet. Muzycy prezentują doskonałą spójność brzmienia i artykulacji, lekkość i wirtuozerię, dzięki której słuchacz doceni wszelkie walory prezentowanych utworów.
