Vocal and instrumental works, including numerous songs, constitute an important part of Zbigniew Bargielski's compositional oeuvre. The artist, who himself has written dozens of poems, this time draws on the texts of other 20th- and 21st-century authors. Eschewing direct description or illustration, they create a mood created by the lyrical subject's personal expression. Similarly, the music, which follows the semantics of the text, emerges from the words that serve as a starting point and become the driving force. The almost ascetic soundscape, comprised of numerous moments of silence and fragmented motifs, freed from tonality, creates a contemplative aura, conducive to philosophical reflections, not least around the theme of love, which is the album's leitmotif. Both vocalists, possessing a broad, operatic dynamic and timbral range, demonstrate a sense of drama in their songs, building tension and drawing the listener into their story.

Twórczość wokalno-instrumentalna, w tym liczne pieśni, stanowi ważną część dorobku kompozytorskiego Zbigniewa Bargielskiego. Artysta, który sam jest autorem kilkudziesięciu utworów poetyckich, tym razem sięga po teksty innych autorów XX i XXI wieku. Unikające bezpośredniego opisu czy ilustracji tworzą nastrój kreowany przez osobistą wypowiedź podmiotu lirycznego. Podobnie jak podążająca ze semantyką tekstu muzyka, wynikająca ze słów, które stanowią punkt wyjścia, stają się elementem sprawczym. Niemal ascetyczna warstwa dźwiękowa, na którą składają się liczne momenty ciszy i urywane, uwolnione z tonalności motywy, tworzy aurę kontemplacyjną, sprzyjającą filozoficznym rozmyślaniom, nie tylko na wokół miłosnej tematyki, która jest motywem przewodnim albumu. Oboje wokaliści, dysponujący szeroką, operową rozpiętością dynamiczną i barwową głosu, w pieśniach ukazują zmysł dramatyczny, stopniując napięcie i wciągając słuchacza w swoją opowieść.
